Onitsuka Tiger released a MEXICO 66 collaborative model at New York fashion brand VAQUERA’s 2025 Spring and Summer Paris Fashion Show.

This is the first shoe collaboration for VAQUERA. This is a redesigned model of Onitsuka Tiger’s iconic model MEXICO 66 based on the concept “reinterpretation of tradition envisioning the future.”

Ornamental gold leaf is hand-stamped onto the upper by artisans which is then weathered, and the heel tabs are embroidered with the wording LOVE and RAGE to express VAQUERA’s double-sided spirit.

Two color variations silver × off-white and yellow × black were announced on the runway for a total of eight looks. These looks that are a combination of differing materials and unique silhouettes inspired by 80’s through to the 90’s fashion accent MEXCO 66’s unique colors and vintage taste. It is a proposal for all new ensembles.
