ONITSUKA TIGER RODEO DRIVE is our flagship store on celebrity-studded Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. The vast 2400 square-foot store contains a full lineup of various items, including our latest collection and models for kids. Here we held an event themed after the zodiacal symbol for 2022: The Tiger.

In a momentous occasion, Onitsuka Tiger joined forces with Flaunt Magazine, a Hollywood-based publication on the cutting edge of the present generation, satirizing fashion and culture in the US. The event, hosted by actor and skateboarder Nico Hiraga, was attended by a plethora of famous individuals.

The lively store was packed with guests and eye-catching, attention-grabbing items based on the event theme of the Tiger. Legend has it that tigers bring good luck in each Year of the Tiger in the sexagenary cycle.

── What did you think when you were invited to this event?
I was astonished to receive the apparel collection lookbook. I usually spend all day working in the studio, but I thought today’s event is one I absolutely must attend.

── Do you have any Onitsuka Tiger items?
Yes, I have both shoes and apparel. I really love them because their designs are so easy to coordinate. I thought about various ways of styling, and decided to accent this jacket with tattoos and a necklace. The items are extremely comfortable, and I couldn’t be more satisfied.

── What is the most attractive thing about Onitsuka Tiger?
The diversity in clothing.

I really like the jacket and pants ensemble I’m wearing right now.

I’ve seen shoe and apparel collections before, but I feel like this collection is exceedingly fresh and even more powerful. I like the way we can style things freely.

Onitsuka Tiger items are highly contemporary. The style is quite protean, so I can wear them on both formal and casual occasions.

I really like the dresses, and an ensemble with a richly lustrous jacket and nylon pants.

The Year of the Tiger-themed event proved a tremendous crowd pleaser. It was also a valuable occasion for American West Coast culture and Japanese culture to intersect. ONITSUKA TIGER RODEO DRIVE will continue to transmit Made-in-Japan pride from the US West Coast.
