Second collaboration with nowartt is on sale! (April 11)

This is the second collaboration with Japanese art director Toyoki Adachi’s textile/graphic label nowartt since 14AW. An original nowartt graphic inspired by animals and plants is printed on the shoe’s upper. In this collaboration, the MEXICO 66 PARATY is printed with motifs of the iconic tiger and other endangered animals. As for CALIFORNIA 78 and SERRANO, they were printed with nowartt’s camouflage print PEACECAMO.
 
This camouflage is designed to express “Harmony with nature” and ”peace” not war. It shows how the flowers and leaves transform the digital bits into a peaceful camouflage.

【nowartt official movie】

This product movie features graphic themes and the Onitsuka Tiger product. SURE SiGN’s representative director Kiyoshi Miyagawa and artist YOSHIROTTEN were the art directors for this piece.
SURE SiGN is a design firm that mainly focuses on interior design but it extends beyond that to do many design works in different fields in Japan and overseas.
YOSHIROTTEN is a worldwide artist that creates many graphics for the fashion and music industry.
 
The power of expression that these two world-renowned artists have and the product’s appeal was captured by YOSHIROTTEN’s vision and execution, and was made into this movie.
