A single monk shoe featuring a functional design that allows the fit to be adjusted with a belt and buckle. It includes a LOGO-embossed buckle that can be easily detached with a single touch. The vamp of the upper is made from Kobe Beef glass leather processed with a knifing technique. The subtle appearance of the underlying red color of the leather is a distinctive feature.
While maintaining the classic elegance of leather shoes that THE ONITSUKA is known for, we have focused on further enhancing comfort. Special emphasis has been placed on improving flexibility and cushioning, resulting in a lighter and more comfortable fit. The hardness of the midsole has been softened to enhance both cushioning and flexibility.
The heel of the sole is equipped with αGEL Foam, providing enhanced shock absorption. The insole combines foam materials of varying firmness, ensuring cushioning while adding support to reduce arch collapse and heel instability. The outsole is made from rubber sponge, which combines durability and cushioning.
The thick shark sole design, based on the sole used in past archive training shoes, features circular patterns on the forefoot and heel.
