THE ONITSUKA™ MONK-S

Our MONK style is a modern take on a classic plain-toed monk-strap. The adjustable instep strap features a removable THE ONITSUKA™ logo buckle, attached with a single snap. Every detail has been meticulously engineered for both form and function. The sole is made from various materials in varying firmness, including aGEL Foam, for excellent cushioning, arch support and shock absorbency. The outer sole is made from rubber sponge, combining both durability and cushioning. Its form is based on training shoes from our own archives, with a thick shark tread sole and circles at impact zones. All colors are made of made-in-Japan leather, with the black and red models using leather from the town of Himeji, which is world-renowned for its leather made from Kobe cattle. *aGEL Foam is a trademark of Taica Corporation, registered in Japan and/or other countries.
