Onitsuka Innovative Factory

"Onitsuka Innovative Factory" is a dedicated production facility for Onitsuka Tiger, established in Tottori Prefecture, the birthplace of the founder, Kihachiro Onitsuka.
This facility serves as a core hub for new creations from Onitsuka Tiger, where the traditional production techniques cultivated over the brand's 75-year history intersect with advanced designs born at the Onitsuka Tiger Design Center in Milan, and high-performance materials and technology developed at the ASICS Institute of Sport Science.

Craftsmanship

The facility will strengthen production for high-value-added footwear, including the globally acclaimed NIPPON MADE series—the symbol of Onitsuka Tiger’s craftsmanship—and the formal leather shoe line THE ONITSUKA.
As a hub for showcasing Onitsuka Tiger's brand vision and the artistry of Japanese craftsmanship to a global audience, expert craftsmanship at the factory will continue to evolve.

Design × Technology

The facility will collaborate closely with the Milan Design Center—Onitsuka Tiger’s international creative headquarters—and The ASICS Institute of Sport Science, which focuses on pioneering research in advanced sports technology, creating core value for Onitsuka Tiger.
The design philosophy and quality standards refined in Sakaiminato will be expanded to the world.

Onitsuka Gallery Store

The facility features the Onitsuka Gallery Store that offers sales of "NIPPON MADE" and "THE ONITSUKA" produced at the factory, as well as a custom shoe ordering service. Additionally, there are exhibits showcasing the history of Onitsuka Tiger and its craftsmanship.
