A court-type sneaker based on the design of tennis shoes released in 1973.
THE ONITSUKA pursues further improvement of comfort while maintaining the beauty of classic leather shoes. In particular, we have focused on improving the flexion and cushioning performance to achieve a light and comfortable fit. Flexion is improved by the lining of the upper and the material of the insole.
In addition, the heel part of the sole is equipped with αGEL Foam to strengthen shock absorbency. The inner sole is designed with a combination of foam materials of different hardness to maintain cushioning and add support to reduce arch sinking and heel wobble.
The outer sole is made of a rubber sponge that is both durable and cushioning. Based on the sole design used in past archive training shoes, it is a thick shark sole with a circular design on the tread and heel.
