Our DERBY style combines timeless design and modern ingenuity. Adding technical material to the instep gives this style a superior fit. Every detail has been meticulously engineered for both form and function. Starting with the instep, we have added rubber to the instep for a superior fit. The upper is made from exceptional Japanese leather, produced using traditional methods. This leather’s source, the town of Himeji, is world-renowned for its Kobe beef leathers. The insole is made from various high-spec materials in varying firmness, including αGEL® foam, for excellent cushioning, arch support and shock absorbency. The outsole is made from rubber sponge, combining both durability and cushioning. Its form is based training shoes from our own archives, with a shark sole treads and circles at impact zones.
