Onitsuka Tiger and Street Fighter 6 collaboration
Avatars of global Street Fighter players don original battle style street wear
Onitsuka Tiger and Street Fighter 6 have collaborated on a special project. This will be the third collaboration between Onitsuka Tiger and Capcom which are Japanese brands that have built up cultures of revering the old while adding new elements.
The collaborative shoes ENDACTUS which also appear in the game will be sold at worldwide Onitsuka Tiger shops (with the exception of a few shops) and online from June 30, 2023.
These collaborative shoes are new items specially developed for Street Fighter 6. The left and right heels are inscribed with the “Onitsuka Tiger” and “Street Fighter” logos respectively. Attention has been paid to the details such as the outer soles separated at the front and back for a rugged look, the square-toes, and stitched Onitsuka Tiger stripes.
The shoes are delivered to your doorstep in a specially designed shoe box and shopping bag inspired by the Street Fighter 6 logo.
The latest information on how to purchase them can be found at the Onitsuka Tiger Online store at this page https://www.onitsukatiger.com/jp/ja-jp/backnumber/news_streetfighter6

From June 2 to 30, the BATTLE HUB will be decked out with Onitsuka Tiger banners, and players will be gifted with Onitsuka Tiger gear including the collaborative footwear ENDACTUS which can be worn by avatars within the game.
At the end of September, a giant Onitsuka Tiger screen will appear at TIMES SQUARE in the WORLD TOUR where you can take a commemorative photo together with your avatar.
From November 1 to 30, an Onitsuka Tiger pop-up store will open in BATTLE HUB where players can download iconic Onitsuka Tiger shoe models such as MEXICO 66 and TRACK TOP.
■Street Fighter
The Street Fighter series started off in 1987 as a commercial arcade game and has since become a hugely popular match-type fighting game which marked its 35th anniversary in 2022. Street Fighter II which was released in 1991 caused a stir as a revolutionary one-on-one fighting game system and was a big hit. Heated battles between idiosyncratic characters and a revolutionary gaming system captured the public’s imagination and eventually became a social phenomenon. It remains a forum for many a drama in the field of e-sports and drives users into a furor. It has since gone on to become a world-renowned brand extending beyond the game by being adapted into film, anime, fashion, and music.
The latest incarnation of the game, Street Fighter 6, will go on sale from June 2, 2023 for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. It boasts new elements such as the new “Modern Type” operability and “Auto Running Commentary Function” which is a series first, and is largely comprised of three modes: the traditional match-type fighting mode FIGHTING GROUND in addition to the newly added WORLD TOUR and BATTLE HUB modes. https://www.streetfighter.com/6/ja-jp/
