Tomohisa Yamashita visited the “Onitsuka Innovative Factory,” which has opened in Tottori Prefecture, the birthplace of brand founder Kihachiro Onitsuka.

At the “Processing Building,” where various design processes such as bleach processing and washing are performed by artisans, he observed the actual processing procedures.

Additionally, he visited the “Onitsuka Gallery Store” located within the factory. This store offers customers the opportunity to purchase shoes manufactured at the Onitsuka Innovative Factory, as well as a custom order service to create sneakers tailored to their preferences, and a display corner that reflects the history of Onitsuka Tiger. It provides a new style of store focused on customer experiences.

The original model “MEXICO 66™ NM L9,” which Yamashita supervised the design of, is on display. This model is designed with simplicity and comfort in mind, aiming to be a special shoe that feels like a “friend” accompanying you in daily life.

The MEXICO 66™ NM L9 comes with a limited shopper and a special card, being a collaboration model limited to 1,000 pairs worldwide. It is scheduled to be released in March 2026 at the Onitsuka Gallery Store and the official Onitsuka Tiger online store. Details will be announced on the special website as they become available.
