This group of ladies, which is quickly rising in popularity, gave a memorable first overseas performance on March 14th at the Onitsuka Tiger x ANDREA POMPILIO 2015-15 Autumn/Winter Collection. They hit the stage with a fresh appeal and dazzling performance.

How did you feel about giving a live performance at the Onitsuka Tiger Show?

Na Hyun: Onitsuka Tiger is a casual and fashionable brand, so I’ve really liked them for a long time. So I was thrilled to get this kind of opportunity! We’re looking forward to showing the audience everything we have on stage today.

What do you think of Onitsuka Tiger outfits?

New Sun: That’s my style! (laughs)
Eui Jin: Yeah, New Sun likes casual clothes.
Min Jae: They’re cute!

For the outfits from today, which of the items would you like to try in the future, and in what kind of situation?

D. Ana: For doing sports and stuff they would be really good.
Su Min: We have a song called Just Go, and that image fits perfectly, so I want to wear that kind of outfit!
Na Hyun: I want to wear them while walking around with the other members. ”

What should fans look for with your debut track, Deja Vu?

Eui Jin: “”Ninja Star Dance””. The point to look for is the hand movements we make while dancing.

Tell us about the origin of the group name SONAMOO.

D.ana: We want our fans to know that that our music is everlasting, like a pine tree.

Tell us about your plans for the future.

Su Min: We want to try to come to Japan as much as possible! And it would really please us for our fans to know about each of us as individuals.
