Nanoka Hara look.2
Nanoka Hara is a young actress who appears in popular TV dramas and commercials and girl’s magazines. Most recently, you can see her in the film “Don’t Call it Mystery” released on September 15. In private, she is a twenty year old girl who prefers toned-down attire and enjoys dress-up to her heart’s content. For Look 2, she is once again dressed in garb from the Onitsuka Tiger 2023 Fall and Winter collection. Check out the outerwear — they are items she wants for her own!

The protagonist for Look 2 is the vivid orange Bomber Jacket. In line with the coloring of the outerwear, the orange × black style emits an edgy sensibility. The leggings which are a mode combination of orange-colored tights with long boots have a futuristic ambiance which brings to mind a transition to a new age.
“Look 2 grabbed my attention the moment I slipped my arms through the sleeves. I looked in the mirror and thought, ‘I like it — this is great! It makes me look neat!’ I like an edgy taste in garb and often wear such clothing. But I ordinarily wear a monotone ensemble, so this is my first attempt to pull off a brilliant colored attire. Vivid colors, once you wear them, elevate your mood, are smart, charming, and great all around!”
Nanoka-san appeared at studio wearing her attire and appeared to be delighted. She even asked her manager what he thought saying, “I wouldn’t mind wearing this get-up in my free time! What do you think?”

“This ensemble layers two outers (bomber jacket and inner quilted shirt). By layering two items with differing textures but of similar colors, they do not conflict and bring depth to the get-up. I think it is a great idea.”
Nanoka-san enjoys fashion ordinarily and has a perceptive eye. You can wear each garment separately or coordinate them with other items in your ensemble.

“I was introduced to a new me through the ensemble in look 1, but I was similarly impressed with look 2. Acting allows you to wear items through wardrobe that you would ordinarily not choose on your own, so I often discover new expressions and likes through the garb. For example, when I did a gig called “Nanba MG5,” my character wore loose socks. Because of this, I started buying and wearing loose socks privately as well.”
Nanoka-san also enjoys dressing up in the garb to play her characters. Why did she aspire to become an actor in the first place?
“When I was in elementary school, I used to watch a TV show called ‘Legal High’ and watching Masato Sakai act made me want to become an actor. There are many actors that I respect, but the actor that I was first enamored with was Sakai-san. There was a lot I learned from the show like how right and wrong differ depending on the person; or there are things that can’t be separated into good and bad. I was drawn to the show because it dealt with difficult themes through the medium of comedy.”
I am surprised that an elementary school aged girl was impressed with difficult issues. Several years later, she is on her own path as an actor. Having reached a milestone at the age of twenty, I asked her what she would like to do while she is twenty.

“Is it alright to give you my gut response? I like the sea, so I want to go driving to Enoshima Island with a friend. I want to get my driver’s license, so that we can take turns driving there.”
Nanoka-san talked to me with a cheerful smile on her face as she imagined the lovely scenery. Nanoka-san the actor is cool, and Nanoka-san the twenty year old girl is also charming. I want to continue cheering her on as she pursues her future in acting.
