Keito Tsuna look.2
Keito Tsuna debuted in the acting business at twenty and has appeared in numerous films and TV dramas. For Look 2, Keito-san takes on the challenge of throwing on active wear that betokens a Spring-time ambience. The polo shirt that was produced in collaboration with Astro Boy has a patch on the chest that is the key point. Together with this he wears half pants of the same color.

“Look 2 was right up my alley! I also like the blouson and the texture is nice and rigid. In choosing garb, for me the number of pockets is crucial (laughing.) These half pants have several deep pockets so I think they are good for going out without any accoutrement. The waist can be drawn and tied up with a string so it is optimal for someone like me with a slender waist.”
He sports TIGER LOAFERS that appear in Look for the first time. They are bound by a rigid sense of dignity and are Onitsuka Tiger functional and lightweight. These pair seem to have struck a chord with Keito as well!
“The loafers look weighty but they are so light! I can walk about in them all day! They are cushioned on the rear so they don’t make a clacking sound when you walk about in them and they fit well. They don’t make your foot sore either! They are designed well and are functional!”

To play a part, he makes use of what he learned during high school. He enjoyed playing sports in high school which helped him with action scenes playing Meruto aka Ryusoulger Blue in “Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger.” In the two-part films “True Beauty: Before/After” scheduled for a March and May 2025 release which are adapted from a popular Korean Internet Manga, Keito plays Yu Igarashi who sings and plays the guitar. He crammed preparing to sing and play the guitar but he says his experience thus far helped him enter his part better.
“I played the guitar for the Light Music Club in senior high school for a short while and had bought a cheap guitar. I started it up again when we were stuck at home during social distancing. I can just play chord progressions, but everyday lessons just happened to help me fill the role I was assigned to perform. How you live your everyday lifestyle is most important.”
I asked him about what to look for in the upcoming two-part films.
“In ‘True Beauty: Before/After’ the various characters evolve throughout the first and second films. Seeing how they pursue their dreams gave me courage. One can empathize with at least one of the characters. In my own case, I had no dreams when I was a student. But playing his part gave me my own dreams and goals, so I think that the character I play who has dreams as a student is so cool! I also have the occasion to attend campus festivals and I find that students have dreams; this is truly a splendid thing!”

Keito Tsuna says that he started having dreams and goals after he began his career as an actor. What is fun about acting for him?
“Acting isn’t fun when things become stifled. When people relax and try to find enjoyment in taking on a challenge, the storehouse of influences that you can draw from increases. Acting is fun at such times. Each set is fundamentally different in terms of the cast and staff so you meet many people and learn things. I am shy and not outgoing about meeting new people, but due to this job I have started to overcome some of this shyness. I feel it is a worthwhile job as I meet new people with each gig so I have made great strides.
I want to become an actor that people would want to watch a movie to see. I also want to try my hand at an action film again like when I was doing the Sentai series.”
