『Hôtel Onitsuka Tiger』 in Champs-Élysées Paris
Onitsuka Tiger founded in 1949 by Kihachiro Onitsuka has reached its 75th anniversary in 2024, and in commemoration plans to open the “Onitsuka Tiger Paris Champs-Élysées Flagship Store” in July 2025 and installed the “Hôtel Onitsuka Tiger” for a limited period. We had a tremendous response for this event—many thanks to all concerned!

The event venue was a historical landmark built in the late 19th century along the world-famous Avenue des Champs-Élysées and is not ordinarily opened for public viewing. This unique environment is used as the concept for a hotel wherein guests are entertained with everything from footwear, eating and living to travel, music and art offered with a charisma and charm that is Onitsuka Tiger.
“Hôtel Onitsuka Tiger” denizens include Grammy award-winning pianist Yuja Wang, Milan resident and Michelin Star Chef Yoji Tokuyoshi, Japanese-French singer-songwriter flutist and multi-instrumentalist Maïa Barouh, and young and energetic artist Yutaro Inagaki who will offer their art during the installation period.
Guests can experience unique Japanese food culture at the “Yellow Tiger Café” that is open during the installation period. There is also an archive sneaker exhibit that showcases 75 years of evolution and challenges undertaken by the brand, a photo gallery that shows the course that the brand has taken over the years since its inception, and installations inspired by the dreams and ambitions of founder Kihachiro Onitsuka that conceived the brand. The brand’s iconic Tiger Yellow has been used to dress up the exterior of the structure and the interior.
Onitsuka Tiger, entrusted with founder Kihachiro Onitsuka’s wish to “do good work that will support people’s hopes and dreams and lead to the future” will keep up the good work setting its sights toward its 100th anniversary year! Please look forward to the new “Onitsuka Tiger Paris Champs-Élysées Flagship Store” planned for opening in July 2025.
