The sole and upper, each derived from one of two archive shoes, come together in a form that balances volume with lightness. The sole features a chunky, flat shape inspired by basketball shoes from the 1950s. Its ribbed texture accentuates the volume while creating a stable, defined profile. The upper features a minimal construction based on elements from tennis shoes of the 1980s. Bringing the leather upper together in tonal colors highlights the material’s distinctive texture and delicate shading. Subtle variations in color created by the way light falls across the surface add dimension and depth to the simple palette, bringing a modern mood to the voluminous silhouette.
