Onitsuka Tiger has partnered with the Japanese textile brand Makumo to create a special capsule collection for Summer 2015. Makumo is a small, family owned textile house that hand make incredibly exclusive prints inspired by traditional Japanese culture. Much of their work is done out of their home, keeping the focus on craftsmanship and quality, and always utilizes the finest Japanese loomed canvas from Kurashiki. The collection debuts with the iconic Mexico 66 and features a unique pattern called Natto, inspired by the Japanese fermented bean. This pack includes two extremely limited color ways, “Natto Sumi/White” and “Natto Kurenai/White”, the customary Japanese terms for black and red.
