FABRE derives its name from the FAstBREak move in basketball and became a generic name for Onitsuka Tiger basketball products. The FABRE DC-S was first released in 1977. For the FABRE DC-S we have used the outsole design of the FABRE POINT GETTER, a popular basketball shoe in Japan, and have incorporated the tiger design as a reminder of Onitsuka’s first basketball shoes.
