NEW ONITSUKA TIGER X-CALIBER DESIGNED FOR URBAN TRACKS

Japan in 1982 was a beacon of progressive design and engineering. As a global hub for technology the booming economy gave the world icons such as the first CD player and Sony Watchman pocket TV.

Sneaker technology was no exception and leapt forward with Onitsuka Tiger’s all-terrain X-CALIBER GT sneaker, featuring pioneering performance-enhancing and injury-preventing design.

The shoe was so well received that Dr. George L. Parrott, an eminent professor and avid marathon runner, declared the X-CALIBER GT “possibly the best overall shoe design this year”.

The re-released X-CALIBER is a retro-looking, street savvy fashion shoe giving exceptional comfort thanks to its light, flexible and shock absorbing technology.

This distinctive design, featuring vertical heel vents – known as flex canals – aid movement and provide superior cushioning, while zig-zagged ‘quadra’ lacing secure and enhance foot support.

The 1980s style is easy on the eye thanks to a combination of breathable mesh material and mid sole made from a thick layer of Memory EVA, to minimise shock and give the wearer a spring in their urban step.
