TIGER CORSAIR NIPPON
Inspired by the jogging boom of the 70s, matched with a classic silhouette. This particular model belongs to our unique "Nippon Made" collection.
Tiger Corsair, originally called Cortez, debuted in 1969 and are based on the jogging boom of the 1970's. With unrivaled comfort, the Tiger Corsair featured increased cushioning, arch cookies, full-length midsole, and thicker heel, all playing a part to better shock absorption. This classic sneaker perfectly pairs with a nice pair of jeans, shorts or chinos.
Being part of the "Nippon Made" series, this particular shoe features "Kumadori" pattern, an image of the Kabuki. Since starting in 2008, "Nippon Made" conveys Japan's craftsmanship of making things. Building one of these shoes is a labour-intensive process: from the stitching to the dying, every step is done by a skilled hand. Everything from the materials used, and the attention to detail, portrays the height of Japan's artisanal quality.
